About caratteraccio

I was born in Lecco, Italy, the 6th April 1977. This photoblog starts exactly 30 years after that day. For sure i'm not a photographer, i just got addicted to digital photography since i took my first picture the 10th October 2003. Since then i started to register and frame what i see and my moods, putting together a little collection that i want to share. There's not much to say about the technique that i don't have, neither about my beloved previous blog that i abandon frozen. The place i live in at the moment is Sala al Barro (Galbiate, LC, Italy), together with my girlfriend Aurélie and Gin, a bonsai tiger with a brutto carattere competing with mine. Auré and me: we don't love to call ourselves f*ck*ng idealists but we do, being her a psychologist and me an environmentalist. That's why i chose a black background, even if i know there are controversial opinions about saving energy using dark colours instead of light ones. In times like these every small step helps, at least spreading out the awareness of environmentally friendly practices. And after this digression i'll let my photos speak, and you of course, feeling free to leave comments whenever you want. And by the way for non-Italian speaking visitors, the meaning of caratteraccio, and brutto carattere as well, is bad temper. Ciao =D

Photography Equipment

My modest camera is a Fujifilm FinePix S304. I also happen to use Auré's camera, a Fujifilm FinePix F450.
Photoshop is a good friend of mine, but i don't use it to edit my photos, i like to post them exactly as they come out of the camera.
Just got me a new toy, a Canon EOS 400D, but i need a lot of practice!
